Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and serving high-quality matcha drinks and other menu items.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
  • Working efficiently with the team during busy periods.
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and using problem-solving skills to resolve issues where appropriate.
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout your shift by tidying as you go.
  • Completing daily cleaning duties to ensure the café is clean and ready for the next day.
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties as required.

Experience

  • Previous barista experience is preferred.
  • If you don’t have barista experience, previous experience working in hospitality (such as cafés, restaurants, or customer-facing roles) is preferred.

Availability

Applicants must be available to work a mixture of early and late shifts, including:

  • Early Shift: 10:00am – 4:00pm
  • Late Shift: 4:00pm – 10:00pm (final hour for cleaning)

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and busy periods is highly valued.
