Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Staff to join our team for a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and social gatherings. The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring guests enjoy a seamless experience by providing exceptional guest services, supporting catering operations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality and catering industries while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with their needs throughout the event
  • Serve food and beverages in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to food safety standards
  • Set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and service stations to specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all service areas before, during, and after events
  • Support guest services by answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations and timely service delivery
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, catering, serving, or restaurant environments is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support team members in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience in guest services or hotel operations is a plus but not essential
  • Must be aged 18 or over to comply with licensing regulations for alcohol service
