Full job description

The Highlander Ponteland is looking for a Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to join our leadership team. Working in a fresh produce, exciting Northumberland venue you will be passionate, dedicated & hard working. The ability to communicate well and build rapport with customers are vital aspects to this role.

What you'll be responsible for

- Supervising the team during day-to-day service.

- Opening/Closing the venue.

- Helping to organise shifts and making sure the right priorities are covered.

- Maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation.

- Dealing with customer queries and resolving issues calmly and professionally.

- Supporting the training and development of new team members.

- Following Food Safety, Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory or team leader experience in a similar position.

Full-Time Position: £27,500 annual salary paid on a monthly basis along with a monthly gratuity allocation. 100% of tips go to team members. Meals on shift are provided, and staff discount is available for all team members.

The role is based on a 4-day working week and the ideal candidate must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays. Over the festive period, days/hours worked may vary, with the venue closing Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

Own transport would be essential due to location Ponteland-Belsay NE20 0DN. Free secure parking available on-site.
