Assistant Manager
Front Room – Café, Bar & Pizza

Front Room is a growing independent café, bar, and pizza neighbourhood hangout spot built around great food and genuinely warm hospitality. We’re a close-knit team of people who love what we do and take real pride in it—especially when it comes to pizza.

We focus on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and creating an atmosphere where guests feel looked after from the moment they walk in whether it’s the music playing, the lighting, or the overall feel of the room, everything is thought about to make sure guests feel comfortable and want to stay. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Assistant Manager who can slot into our team, bring positive energy, and help us maintain the standards we’re known for.

The Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the management team to oversee daily operations and ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll lead by example on the floor, support and develop the team, and help deliver a consistently great experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day running of the venue
  • Lead shifts and manage the team on the floor
  • Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback
  • Assist with staff training and development
  • Help manage stock, ordering, and opening/closing procedures
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service and food quality
  • Responsible for upholding our values and culture

  • Reliable and confident opening and closing the venue
  • Previous experience working within a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
