Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality and food service establishments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage teams, ensure food safety standards, and contribute to a vibrant dining environment.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff, including food preparation, serving, and hospitality services.
  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained consistently.
  • Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and provide training to new staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation efficiently.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety legislation.
  • Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude within the workplace.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP protocols.
  • Experience in food production, culinary arts, or hotel management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience serving customers in a hospitality context is advantageous.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts are preferred but not essential.
  • A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment while maintaining high standards of quality and service excellence. Pay: £13.00 per hour
