Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food and beverage operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily shop activities, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and foster a welcoming environment for customers. Previous experience in supervising within a restaurant or café setting is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff to achieve performance goals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the premises
  • Assist with food production tasks such as brewing coffee, preparing snacks, and serving customers
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies
  • Handle customer queries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction
  • Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and a positive attitude

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
  • Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous
  • Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
  • Experience working in hotel or hospitality sectors is beneficial but not essential
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
