Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic professional to join our culinary team. Our kitchen focuses on authentic Spanish flavors, ranging from traditional tapas to modern Mediterranean entrees. The ideal candidate has a deep respect for ingredients, a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a high-volume, collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff with ingredient organisation and inventory management
  • Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning
  • Assist with serving food to customers or staff as required
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards
  • Support in setting up and clearing dining areas before and after service shifts
  • Ensure proper storage of perishable goods to prevent spoilage or contamination

Skills

  • Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Ability to assist with meal and food preparation efficiently under supervision
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail in handling ingredients and kitchen equipment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Basic culinary skills such as chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes are advantageous
  • Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service etiquette is a plus
  • Flexibility to adapt to busy kitchen environments and support various tasks as needed
