Ripley Castle is a destination of choice for many day visitors & Boar's Head residents, we believe it is our people who make the difference. Set in the picturesque village of Ripley, just north of Harrogate, you will find our Boar's Head Inn, a coaching Inn with 23 bedrooms and a busy restaurant and bar.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dependable, honest and self motivated candidate to join our loyal and hardworking team. We are looking for an individual to join our team working across Saturday or Sunday each week, from 9am to 1pm.

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Rate of pay is dependent upon age of applicant.

*Please only apply if you are looking for a permanent Job 4 hours a day shift over Saturday or Sunday each week.

General Manager & Head Housekeeper

Main purpose of the Job:

  • Ensuring high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Main duties

  • Clean public areas, bedrooms, and rest rooms.

Essential Requirements

  • Team player
  • Able to work alone and manage time
  • Able to communicate confidently and politely with guests
  • Neat and tidy appearance
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Must be able to work each weekend

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience welcome but full training will be given.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 per week
