Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and food service to develop their skills in a vibrant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or related fields is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional guest services to enhance their dining experience
  • Prepare hot and cold drinks
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure proper handling of ingredients and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
  • Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting the dining area for new guests

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Experience as a delivery driver or in roles such as barista, hotel staff, or culinary assistant is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage courteously with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
