Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic F&B Assistants to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent guest experiences through attentive service and efficient food handling. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic culinary environment, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service, including taking orders and serving food and beverages
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including the kitchen and dining spaces
  • Support with stock replenishment and inventory checks to maintain smooth service flow
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Handle guest enquiries professionally, providing information about menu options and specials
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and basic maths skills for billing purposes
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food safety procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest service during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if necessary
