Full job description

The successful candidate will join our kitchen team to assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

Must be friendly, outgoing and highly motivated. Must have an excellent eye for attention to detail and have a proactive approach to any tasks assigned to them.

Summary

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Head Chef, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and supporting the kitchen staff. Your relevant skills in cooking, restaurant, and hotel experience will be vital in creating a productive environment. We expect you to contribute positively to our hospitality standards while fostering teamwork. Join us in delivering outstanding service in a vibrant kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation by washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
  • Handle dishwashing and sanitizing kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Follow safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance kitchen efficiency and workflow.
