Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are accommodated
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service environments
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
  • Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation processes
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
