Overview

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience

  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and provide exceptional guest services
  • Upsell menu items and specials to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue through friendly recommendations
  • Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during service and food preparation
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality or guest experience

Experience

  • Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant serving roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques is advantageous
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and tips accurately
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen work can be a plus, demonstrating versatility in restaurant operations
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
  • Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
