About This Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking General Assistant to join our hotel team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining housekeeping duties with front-of-house service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
  • Making beds, replenishing amenities and reporting maintenance issues
  • Cleaning and maintaining public areas
  • Assisting with breakfast, restaurant and bar service
  • Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive customer service
  • Setting up and clearing tables
  • Supporting weddings, functions and other hotel events
  • Following food hygiene, health and safety, and fire-safety procedures
  • Assisting other departments when required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be dependable, punctual and well presented
  • Have a positive, flexible and helpful attitude
  • Take pride in maintaining excellent standards
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Be comfortable undertaking both housekeeping and guest-facing duties
  • Be available for a mixture of morning, evening and weekend shifts
  • Have previous hospitality or housekeeping experience, although training will be provided
