Full job description

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing excellent service and creating a positive experience for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work alone and also as part of a small team. Unlocking and locking the building will be included in your duties also cashing up tills at the end of the shift

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Provide recommendations on drink selections and upsell additional items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests seated at the bar
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
