We are located in Surbiton, Surrey so please don't apply unless you live within easy and affordable commuting distance. Our location really would not be suitable for those who live in North or East London and so applicants from here will not be considered. We can finish late on a Saturday and travelling back to East or North London would be extremely problematic.

We now have two full time (40Hours) posts currently available. Our full time posts are 40hours per week, which usually involves working on most Saturdays. We also have three Part Time Posts available.

Its rewarding wowing our customers, whether that's folk enjoying the most important day of their life at a wedding, or our regular customers who keep coming back time and time again. We need someone who recognises that it is show time when our service starts, and who wants to ensure people leave Glenmore House can't waiting to return. Our team make that difference. If you are a clock watcher who each hour just wants another £13.50 in the bank then this is not the place for you!

Glenmore House is a hospitality venue and members club located in Surbiton, 16minutes from London Waterloo. Trading since 1921 we have an enviable reputation for our friendly efficient professional team, as much as our award winning food and service. No two days are the same at Glenmore House, our team look after all our customers whether a wedding, a wake, a Royal Gala Ball, to conferences and even our twice weekly bridge club. We have two bars on site, with operations led by managers however what we are looking for is not necessarily experience but team members who enjoy what they do. Its hard work at times, and is not for the faint hearted but its rewarding in terms of people customers always leave Glenmore House having been wowed by the experience and food..... and our team are very much responsible for that! If the team are happy the customers are, that is why our people tend to stay in their roles far longer than industry standard.

Glenmore House is a Private Members Club and a Banqueting Venue for weddings, conferences, dinner dances in Surbiton Surrey (15mins by train from London Waterloo). Trading since 1921 we have a reputation for delivering first class food & service. We are looking for friendly, self motivated, smiley and efficient people to join our team of banqueting staff, who serve plated meals, buffets, and work in our bars. Experience is not essential, the right attitude is!

You will need:

- To live local to Surbiton, Surrey or on a good bus or train route. Please look up where Surbiton is located...it is too far from East or North London to be commutable!
- A good grasp of English, and the ability to communicate with our customers
- To be able to work as part of a small team of dedicated individuals, who work with passion, flare, and commitment
- Have Smart appearance (sorry no blue or green hair!)

In return we will offer:

- from £13.00 to £13.50 per hour gross pay (subject to experience), paid monthly into a bank account.
- A Full time job Please note though that all our Full Time will work many Saturday afternoon and evenings. We currently only have three full time roles available, and a couple of Part-Time (20hours) full time could mean starting work at 2.30pm or earlier in the day. Part time could fit round timetables, but again usually involves working most Saturdays!

No two days are the same at Glenmore House, the job offers variety, no groundhog day here. Our Banqueting Team serve in our two bars, they then will serve plated meals to all our functions whether that's a wedding, a christening, a wake, or a members dinner. It can be a busy place to work but its rewarding and satisfying to be a part of our small appreciated team
