Full job description

The Crab & Lobster is an acclaimed restaurant in the village of Asenby, near Thirsk. We serve delicious seafood to our guests in the heart of North Yorkshire using fresh produce from the numerous coastal towns on our doorstep.

We are looking for a personable, out-going person to join our friendly and supportive team as a restaurant waiter.

This is a full-time position with shifts available across a flexible weekly rota, including breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

This is an hourly paid job paying up to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience, with very good tips on top.

Working up to 40 hours per week. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and are busiest during weekends and evenings, so we need someone who can work during these times.

Experience as a restaurant waiter is essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience
  • Strong serving skills and knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to prepare food and manage time effectively
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions
  • Experience in guest services and kitchen operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available to work evening and weekends

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45.0 per week
