Full job description

We are looking for someone who is adaptable and willing to roll up their sleeves with a ‘can do', positive attitude.

Previous restaurant management experience is required. All further training will be provided. Preferred requirements include:

  • Work experience in restaurant management
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Extensive food & beverage knowledge
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Financial management skills

Job responsibilities will include the following,

  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff
  • Managing budgets
  • Cellar management
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records
  • Ensuring targets are met
  • Planning and problem solving
  • Promoting and marketing the business
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
  • Serving customers and ensuring high levels of customer service are met
  • Placing orders
  • Stock-taking and re-stocking
  • Handling administration and paperwork
  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities, sales representatives and the police
  • Marketing products
  • Making improvements to the running of the business
  • Setting targets and maximizing profitability
  • Ensuring risk assessments and company policies are adhered to
