Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and cooking, whether you have previous kitchen experience or are eager to develop your skills in a professional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. Duties

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
  • Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils
  • Ensure all food safety standards and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Help with meal assembly and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Support serving staff during busy periods by delivering prepared dishes promptly
  • Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and work surfaces regularly to uphold health standards
