Full job description

Kitchen Staff

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evenings

16.00 to 21.00

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities in the restaurant kitchen
- Help develop and plan menus
- Oversee food production and ensure that all dishes are prepared to high standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent culinary skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Collaborate with management to create new dishes and improve existing recipes
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order

Skills:
- Strong culinary background with experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage a team, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve high standards
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality in every dish
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
