Job Overview

Do you enjoy professional cooking but cant commit to a fulltime role?

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Chef to join our Gastro pub team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

The successful applicant will contribute to creating great dining experiences for our guests while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of pub dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal prep, ensuring timely delivery during service hours
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols diligently
  • Support the team during busy periods.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good understanding of meal preparation
  • Previous restaurant or pub experience is essential
  • Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability
  • Basic serving skills are advantageous but not mandatory
