We have an exciting new vacancy for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Adamton Country House Hotel. This magnificent manor, set within a historic estate dating back to the 11th century, features 265 bedrooms and is conveniently located next to Glasgow Prestwick Airport. It’s easily accessible from nearby towns such as Kilmarnock, Prestwick, and Ayr.

This is a weekend-focused position, with the majority of shifts taking place on Saturdays and Sundays, alongside some additional hours available during the week. Please only apply if you are able to work weekends on a regular basis.

As our Kitchen Porter, you will be required to:

  • Help to keep all kitchens and food storage areas clean
  • Supporting chef in basic food preparation and other tasks if required
  • Washing dishes and providing a constant stock of clean crockery and utensils for all areas of the hotel
  • Follow regular cleaning schedules as well as routine deep cleaning as required

The ideal candidate will be organised and punctual, you will be reliable and able to work within a team. The ideal candidate should also have food hygiene and food safety knowledge.

Please note: Due to the hotel's rural location and the early start times required for some shifts, candidates should carefully consider how they will travel to and from work. Public transport options are limited, particularly during early mornings and late evenin
