Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our vanguard marketinng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales skills within a professional environment, contributing to the growth of our business. A strong focus on customer service, organisational abilities, and effective communication are essential for success in this position.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their requirements
  • Engage in active negotiation to close sales and maximise customer satisfaction
  • Manage B2B sales relationships, fostering long-term partnerships
  • Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and promotions
  • Maintain organised records of sales transactions and customer interactions using IT systems
  • Drive company vehicles as needed for client meetings or product deliveries
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales performance and market reach
  • Ensure the store or sales environment remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
  • Utilise excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients

Experience

  • Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully
  • Experience in B2B sales is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with common software applications and CRM systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus
  • Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving driving responsibilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for building rapport with clients and team members

Pay: £490.00-£800.00 per week
