Due to continued growth and the award of new contracts, we're looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our expanding team, covering Charnwood and the surrounding area.

Working primarily within the social housing sector, you'll carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance and property improvements in occupied and vacant homes on behalf of local authorities and housing associations.

What You'll Be Doing

As one of our Multi-Trade Operatives, you'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance to domestic properties.
• Completing a variety of carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and decorating works.
• Carrying out general property refurbishment works.
• Completing damp and mould remediation works where required.
• Diagnosing repairs and resolving issues efficiently, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible.
• Delivering excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and to a consistently high standard.
• Accurately recording completed works using company-provided technology.
• Managing your daily workload and appointments effectively.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced all-round tradesperson who has:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative, ideally within social housing, local authority or housing association maintenance.
• Strong skills in carpentry and plumbing, together with experience in tiling, plastering and decorating.
• Experience carrying out general property repairs and refurbishment.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Their own hand tools.

Experience with damp and mould remediation would also be beneficial.

Desirable Experience

Additional experience in any of the following would be a bonus:

• UPVC fascia and soffit repairs.
• Flooring.
• Roofing repairs.
