JOB PURPOSE

The Roofing Operatives post has been created to support the operational team at Central. The role is 40 hours per week and the working days are Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role will include undertaking specific tasks in relation to supporting the Operations Team and includes but not limited to;

Ensuring maximum productivity on site and that contracts are completed to program and to high standard.

Good time keeping and customer service.

Ensuring health & safety requirements and procedures are strictly enforced and adhered to.

Ensuring the reporting of all reportable injuries, diseases, dangerous occurrences and near misses are communicated to management to enable investigation to take place.

Ensure a safe working environment for you and your team.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

We are looking for individuals who are focused and are able to work individually and as part of a wider team to achieve results. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate a professional approach, be punctual and reliable, have an eye for detail and the ability to identify and solve problems and be willing to travel. You will need to be approachable and have a firm understanding within the roofing and construction industry, specifically in felt, liquid and tiling. A full driver’s licence would be advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will already hold the following qualifications/certificates;

CSCS Card

Asbestos Awareness

Working at Height

1st Aid at Work

CISRS Scaffold Inspection

However, if you do not hold all of these certificates, we can provide full training.
