Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee preparation and food service within a dynamic environment. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, matcha, and other drinks.
  • Handle customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, equipment, and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety throughout all duties
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and safely
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
