At Chemring Countermeasures, you'll join our Innovation team developing innovative technologies that help protect military personnel worldwide. Working alongside experienced scientists and engineers, you'll be involved in hands-on research, testing and product development in a unique and highly specialised environment.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out laboratory testing, analysis and research
  • Support the development of advanced energetic materials and formulations
  • Conduct explosive compatibility and sensitiveness testing
  • Contribute to exciting new product development projects
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
  • Support continuous improvement and safe working practices

What We're Looking For

  • Degree, HNC or BTEC in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Laboratory experience through work, research or academic projects
  • Strong practical chemistry skills
