We are seeking a dynamic presenters to join our team at Sublime Science in the UK. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to make science awesome, delivering captivating presentations that engage and inspire young minds. This includes parties, celebrations, workshops, assemblies, school days, festivals and more!

Responsibilities?

  • Deliver engaging science presentations to children
  • Facilitate interactive workshops that promote learning through fun
  • Utilize public speaking, teaching and entertainment skills to captivate audiences
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new presentation materials
  • Adapt presentations based on audience feedback and engagement levels
  • Promote enthusiasm for science through creative demonstrations
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance presentation techniques
  • Liaise with customers and clients with professionalism and courtesy, adapting theo their needs.

Experience and requirements?

  • Proven experience in public speaking or teaching
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Experience working with Children
  • Passion for science and education
  • Creative thinking and ability to adapt content for different age groups
  • Experience in performing arts or similar fields is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for inspiring children and making learning enjoyable
  • Exemplary communications and admin skills aiding us to efficiently allocate work
  • Full Driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.

A Typical Event?

You will travel direct from home (no commuting to the office!) to a pre-booked science event in your locality and present science programmes to approximately 20 children aged 5 - 12 years. You'll need to arrive in good time to setup the equipment and greet the guests. All events vary but they typically last from 1 to 2 hours. Event and customer details are set by our bookings team however details will be confirmed with the customer by yourself a few days before the event.

Where is it?

We have customers and clients up and down the UK however we are always looking for presenters in the following areas: Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Stoke-on-Trent, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Swindon, Bath & Bristol, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, and all Greater London.

We provide full training, a full set of equipment and extensive booking and logistical support. Our bookings team work 7 days a week to provide our customers and our presenters with fantastic, memorable science events!
