Full job description

We are looking for new Computer Science tutors to join our growing team of private tutors working in the Leeds area.

Our tutors deliver one-to-one lessons at pupils' homes and in local schools. We are looking for Computer Science tutors to teach at GCSE and/or A level. You can decide which students you work with and at what level. With Tutor In you earn from £30 to £40 per hour and enjoy complete flexibility in your working hours. We are particularly looking for tutors with availability to provide lessons during the day at local schools.

We are a local tutoring agency based in Leeds, so our tutors know us personally and can rely on our support to help deliver the best lessons possible. Details about the role:

  • Lessons usually take place at our pupils' homes or in local schools, so you will be expected to travel.
  • You can select the areas you want to work in and what level you want to tutor (from GCSE to A level).
  • Lessons are usually an hour long and take place weekly.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge. As a minimum you need to be a graduate with a relevant degree and a good A level in the subject you are looking to tutor.
  • Excellent teaching and/or tutoring experience is required.
  • You need to be able to drive and have access to a car in order to travel to pupils' homes.
