Elect Building and Maintenance is a UK leading specialist in Heating, Electrical Maintenance and Building Services across the North West and North East of the UK.
We are currently recruiting for a number of roles for Plasterers with work of the highest quality to join our team across the North West and North East of England.
The candidate must have experience in Plastering in the following environment:

QUALIFICATIONS: Full UK Driving Licence
Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience with plastering
ESSENTIAL A good knowledge of the general building and construction industry
REQUIREMENTS: Good understanding and knowledge of basic Health & Safety
Experience in ordering and collecting materials
Experience of property maintenance
Experience of working in the Social Housing sector
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the effective delivery of Plastering repairs. This will include preparation of walls for works, full plaster works, patch repairs, skimming, bonding, artexing, over boarding, within the void, responsive and planned repair service, using the required tools
2. To assess and carry out accurate planned repairs efficiently and effectively maintaining our company ‘Right First Time ‘approach towards our customers.
3. To be able to carry out general building works such as Tiling, Pointing, Floor Screeding etc.
4. You will ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship
5. You will manage customer enquiries, responding in a professional manner coordinating with our Planning team
6. From time to time if requested, to act as a mentor to trainees within the organisation and encourage a learning environment
7. Work on own initiative to ensure that all repairs are carried out efficiently to ensure the right level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
8. Take personal responsibility for own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace
9. Take personal responsibility for seeking value for money opportunities to get service right first time
10. To keep Company property in clean state and good condition.
11. To wear appropriate PPE as instructed and supplied.
12. To complete all paperwork accurately and submit on time each week.
13. To work a minimum of 40 hours a week on site
14. To adhere to all Health & Safety at Work Regulations, Risk Assessments, Health & Safety Policy and method statements
