Personal Injury Secretary / Administrative Assistant | Chichester

In this role, you'll provide secretarial and administrative support to a busy Personal Injury team, helping fee earners deliver an efficient and professional service to clients.

The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a confident and organised Personal Injury Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join its well-established Personal Injury department. This is a varied role where you'll become an integral part of the team, supporting fee earners with the day-to-day administration of a busy caseload.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing correspondence and legal documents using audio and copy typing
  • Liaising with experts, counsel, witnesses and the courts
  • Managing diaries, appointments and client enquiries
  • Using accounting and time recording software
  • Checking documents for accuracy before they are sent
  • Preparing post and enclosures for dispatch
  • Scanning, photocopying and general administrative support
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements

The firm is keen to speak with candidates who have previous legal secretarial or administrative experience. Experience within Personal Injury would be advantageous, although it isn't essential. Knowledge of the Proclaim Case Management System would also be beneficial, but full training will be provided.

This is a fully office-based position, working from one of our client's Chichester offices. In return, you'll be joining a friendly and experienced team within a well-respected law firm that genuinely values its support staff and offers a competitive salary based on experience and ability.

If you'd like to find out more, apply today for a confidential discussion. We'll always speak with you before your CV is shared with our client, and if this opportunity isn't quite right, we work with a range of law firms across the region and would be happy to discuss other suitable roles.
