Bold Security are now recruiting for Security Officers for an exciting vacancy in the whole Plymouth area.

Duties involved (not an exhaustive list):

• Patrol the store to prevent theft and keep people safe
• Watch for suspicious behaviour and act quickly when needed
• Deal with shoplifting and incidents calmly and professionally
• Provide a visible presence to deter crime
• Work with store staff and management to maintain security
• Write clear reports of any incidents
• Retail security
• Offer basic customer support when needed

Duties will increase as the role progresses.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid SIA Licence
• Strong communication skills
• Smart appearance - black safety shoes, black trousers, blazer, security Hi-Viz.
• Experience in retail security

For meaningful checks to be carried out, individuals need to have lived in the UK for a sufficient period to enable appropriate checks to be carried out and produce a result which provides the required level of assurance. Security clearance is desirable for the role however this can be applied for upon successful interview procedure. You need to have been a resident in the United Kingdom for the 5 years for SC clearance. People working with government assets must complete basic personnel security standard checks.
