Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Civils Supervisor / Site Agent to manage and oversee civil construction activities on-site. The successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

This is a fully site-based role requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities
  • Coordinate subcontractors, plant, labour, and materials
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications and drawings
  • Monitor project progress and assist in maintaining schedules
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Complete site documentation SOS, permits, and daily records
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational site issues
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Assist with cost control, progress measurement, and resource planning

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or site agent role
  • Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, foundations, roads, and structural concrete works
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
  • Solid knowledge of HSE standards and quality assurance procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • SMSTS or equivalent
  • CAT training

Preferred Experience

  • Experience on solar farms, wind farms, substations, or utility-scale infrastructure projects
  • Experience working with EPC contractors
  • First Aid / Safety certifications
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Familiarity with contract administration (FIDIC or similar contracts is an advantage)
  • NRSWA supervisor card
  • Lift Supervisor
  • Temporary Works
