Regional Sales Manager

Helionix | Solar Software & MCS Accredited Solar and Heat Loss Services

Location: Regional / UK Field-BasedJob Type: Full-TimeSector: Renewable Energy | Solar Software | Business Development

About Helionix

Helionix is a growing UK business providing specialist software and support services to the renewable energy industry.

Our services include solar design software, MCS certification support, solar installation compliance and heat loss design solutions.

We work with businesses across the UK, helping them access the software, technical resources and professional support needed to deliver renewable energy projects.

As part of our continued expansion, we’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to develop and strengthen our relationships with businesses throughout the UK.

The Role

This is a field-based role involving regular visits to businesses across your designated region and, where required, other parts of the UK.

You’ll work with both existing Helionix customers and prospective business clients, building relationships, introducing our services and identifying new commercial opportunities.

You’ll be meeting business owners, directors and decision-makers, providing an overview of the Helionix platform and explaining how our software and services can support their operations.

The position combines account management, business development and face-to-face consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit existing Helionix customers to maintain and develop professional relationships.
  • Meet prospective businesses across the UK to introduce our software and services.
  • Develop new business opportunities within the solar, electrical, heating and renewable energy sectors.
  • Arrange and conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations and software demonstrations.
  • Build relationships with business owners, directors and key decision-makers.
  • Manage a regional portfolio of existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify opportunities for new partnerships and long-term business relationships.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, appointments and sales activity.
  • Work closely with our internal team to support customer onboarding and ongoing account development.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated, confident and professional individual who enjoys meeting people, developing business relationships and representing a growing company.

  • Experience in field sales, account management or business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident meeting company directors and business owners.
  • Ability to manage your own diary, appointments and regional territory.
  • Self-motivated, organised and commercially focused.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly to visit businesses.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience within renewable energy, construction, electrical or heating industries would be advantageous.

Previous experience in solar or MCS compliance is beneficial but not essential. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to represent a growing UK renewable energy software business.
  • An established customer base alongside new business opportunities.
  • Full training on Helionix software and services.
  • Ongoing support from our technical and management teams.
  • Regional territory development.
  • Career progression opportunities as the business expands.
  • A varied role combining customer visits, account management and new business development.

Join Helionix

We’re looking for someone who can represent our business professionally, develop strong commercial relationships and play an important role in expanding Helionix across the UK.

If you have experience in business-to-business sales and enjoy meeting customers face-to-face, we’d like to hear from you.
