PERMANENT FULL TIME TIME ROLE AVAILABLE - 4 DAY WORKING WEEK

IMMEDIATE START

We are delighted to offer a varied and exciting role as part of our small administration team at Daro Soft Furnishings, Ilkeston. We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident person to assist in the administration duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good Microsoft Office skills(particularly Microsoft Excel) and a drive to learn.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing towards the efficient running of the factory by ensuring all administrative tasks are completed. Ensuring proper flow of office procedures and supporting the manager by carrying out common office duties. Maintaining company records and systems in line with company policy and assisting the monitoring of the production and dispatch process of all items across the factory.

Duties:

  • General Office duties – filing, copying, recording of items for stock
  • Monitoring, maintaining and updating spreadsheets
  • Issuing production to the factory to ensure the flow of work
  • Printing and supplying the factory with both sewing labels and shipping labels for various products.
  • Managing correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
  • Maintaining accurate records of employees attendance & absences
  • Answering inbound calls and directing as appropriate
  • Assists in creating purchase orders and authorising invoices and ensure that agreed deadlines are met
  • Accurately recording month end stock on systems
  • Support in monitoring of performance of the division and assist in implementing improvement methods.
  • Problem solving to ensure manufacturing and production process is unaffected and remains efficient.
  • Support in taking new and existing customer enquiries
  • Sourcing of components, materials and labour

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday
  • 9 hours a day
