About Venture Southampton:

The UK’s largest Family Portrait Photography business with studios across the UK, in the US and Hong Kong. The Cardiff studio has been an amazing, fun creative place to work since opening in 2002.

Job Responsibilities:

The job involves creating rapport and consulting our customers before you photograph them in our studio. Also includes editing and retouching the images, and then showing the customers the images in our cinematic preview room. You’ll then guide and advise them as to what will suit them best, based on their interior and budget requirements.

Ideally we are looking for someone who:

is Experienced in studio portrait photography.

is proficient in Photoshop and Light-room.

is Creative.

can work well in a team and under own initiative.

has a “can do” attitude and great interpersonal skills.

loves working with customers.

is great with kids as well as grownups.

is great on the phone and face to face.

is a generally lovely person who likes working hard and has a passion for photography.

Must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday every week (one Sunday a month). Minimum of 40 hours per week in total (FIVE 8hr days a week).

It's essential that you already have experience in photography (It doesn't have to be studio work), but training will be given to reach the high Venture standards. However, you must have a reasonable understanding of DSLR cameras and Photoshop.

Starting salary £26,436.80 p/a pro-rata plus generous commission + monthly bonuses. Starting salary and progression depends on experience/qualifications.
