Overview

We are looking for an experienced, creative and reliable Professional Videographer & Video Editor to join our growing media team.

This role is mainly focused on high-quality social media content production. We need someone who is confident filming with a professional camera setup such as a Sony FX3 or similar cinema-style camera, and who can also edit content to a strong standard using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar advanced editing platforms.

The ideal candidate understands that social media content is not the same as traditional commercial filmmaking or long-form YouTube content. We are looking for someone who can create content that is visually professional, but also fast-paced, engaging, modern and suitable for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.

You will be working on a range of client projects, including brand content, promotional videos, food content, interviews, corporate-style content, event coverage and short-form social campaigns. You must be able to apply creativity on shoots, understand what performs well online, and produce polished edits that match the pace and style of modern social media.

Professional equipment can be provided where needed, including camera setups, and travel expenses for shoots will be covered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film high-quality video content using professional camera equipment such as the Sony FX3 or similar cinema-style cameras.
  • Capture content for social media campaigns, promotional videos, interviews, brand films, corporate content, events, lifestyle shoots and client projects.
  • Understand the creative brief and apply your own ideas to improve shots, angles, pacing and overall content quality.
  • Confidently manage camera settings, framing, lighting, audio and composition to ensure footage is captured to a professional standard.
  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or other professional editing software.
  • Create clean, engaging and modern edits suitable for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Add music, captions, sound design, transitions, colour correction and basic graphics where required.
  • Understand the difference between content made for social media and content made for traditional commercial or long-form formats.
  • Organise, manage and back up footage properly after shoots.
  • Work closely with the creative team to deliver content that matches the client brief and brand style.
  • Travel to different shoot locations when required.
  • Work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
  • Stay up to date with current social media trends, filming styles and editing techniques.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio or examples of previous work.
  • Confident filming with professional cameras such as the Sony FX3 or similar equipment.
  • Strong understanding of camera settings, lighting, framing, composition and audio.
  • Strong editing ability using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar professional editing software.
  • Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to create visually strong, engaging and polished short-form content.
  • Good understanding of pacing, hooks, captions, music, sound design and social media viewing behaviour.
  • Ability to work independently on shoots when required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients, creative directors and team members.
  • Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to shoot locations when required.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with food content, lifestyle content, interviews, events, corporate shoots or brand-led social media campaigns.
  • Experience using CapCut for fast social edits where needed.
  • Photography experience.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop or other Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Basic motion graphics skills.
  • Strong colour grading ability.
  • Good understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts trends.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

We are not just looking for someone who can press record. We need someone who understands how to capture content properly, think creatively on set and edit in a way that works for modern social media.

The right person should be able to film professional-looking content, but also understand that social media content needs strong pacing, clear storytelling, engaging visuals and an understanding of what keeps people watching.

You should be confident using professional camera equipment, but also flexible enough to work in fast-moving social media environments where shoots can vary from client to client.
