Full job description

Support Worker – Supported Living | Long Eaton | £12.82-£13/hr

We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

Do you want to be an important part of someone's journey to recovery and living their best lives in their own homes?

This isn't just a job; it's a vocation and an opportunity to use your skills, experiences and compassionate nature to really help make a difference.

We're looking for an inspiring, collaborative, caring, kind, empowering, innovative, dedicated Support Worker to join our Supported Living service in Long Eaton,. It's no coincidence that the attributes we are looking for also mirror our company values. You'll be supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and complex emotional challenges, helping them build independence, grow in confidence, and live life on their own terms.

If you're the kind of person who shows up with heart, treats everyone with dignity, and finds meaning in the small wins, we want to hear from you.

What your days will look like:

You'll be a consistent, trusted presence in the lives of our service users, supporting them to reach their potential, identify goals and daily routines, alongside navigating at times difficult thoughts and feelings. No two days are the same, and that's what makes it so rewarding.

· Provide person-centred support as part of a supportive team.

· Help individuals with daily living, community access, and working towards personal goals

· Use trauma-informed approaches to support people with compassion and professionalism

· Contribute to care records, daily logs, and safeguarding documentation

· Work alongside senior staff and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver truly holistic care

· Promote independence, positive risk-taking and aspirations.

What you bring to the table

You'll need:

· A genuine passion for supporting others and making a difference

· Some experience in a care, support, or health setting (Supported Living, Residential, or Mental Health ideal)

· Empathy, patience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure

· A basic understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care

· Flexibility for varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Don't have qualifications yet? No problem. We'll enrol you onto a fully funded Diploma in Health and Social Care — so you can earn while you learn and build a career of which to be proud!
