Do you have a mad passion for teaching people how to swim? Would you love to go all out to inspire our swim members?

At Beaconsfield Swimming we deliver swim courses from local pools within 15-20 mins of Beaconsfield, Bucks.

The job:

  • To Ensure all scheduled swimming lessons and related poolside activities are delivered to our highest standard, creating an exceptional experience for our members.
  • Responsible for developing engaging, innovative classes following the ASA Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.
  • Create a safe and fun pool environment & for all of our members including parents/guardians of our child members.
  • Record and document each lesson, tracking member attendance and improvement to ensure they are progressing at an optimal pace, and we are meeting our internal targets.
  • Build positive relationships with members and help them achieve their swimming goals.
  • Work, support and build strong bonds with co-teachers (Level 2), assistant teachers (Level 1) and pool helpers.
  • Work closely with the Director to meet targets and help improve the service, processes and procedures to build a progressive, exciting brand.

Your aura & credentials:

You are a shining beacon of awesomeness. You are friendly and approachable and greet everyone with a smile. Your ability to connect with adults and children is off the chart, and this is why you are so good at your job - people just naturally get on with you, and you with them!
You also like to help make things better, and always have suggestions and ideas of ways to improve.

  • ASA Level 2 or STA Level 2 in Swimming Teaching
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Professional and courteous to everyone you interact with - including face to face, over the phone & via email / electronic correspondence.
  • DBS checked.

It would be great if:

  • NLPQ Lifeguard (or would consider taking the course)

Hourly Rate:

  • L1 = £16.50ph
  • L2 = £24.50ph

Your commitment….

This role is part time 6-10 hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business but generally once you have your course(s) your timetable will be pretty well set.

Typical lessons take place during the day and after school as well as weekends. We are flexible however and always try to give you hours that suit you.
