Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as UX Designer working in Leeds as part of our Creative team.

Salary: £38,000- £42,000 excellent benefits package

The UX Designer will help build on our UX approach. Working in close, day-to-day partnership with our CRO team, and lending capacity to other channels such as CRM and Marketing. Creating an effortless and seamless customer experience. You'll inherit an established design system built in Figma, and your job is to build on it, keeping our visual language consistent and coherent as we develop our customer journeys.

This is a hands-on role for someone who's as comfortable interpreting UX / behavioural data to inform test-ready designs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and iterate across key user journeys, creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI
  • Work within and extend our existing Figma design system, keeping our visual language consistent across every channel
  • Partner with the CRO Manager to design and iterate across our CRO roadmap from wireframe through to build-ready designs.
  • Translate customer insights and business requirements into clear, user-centred design solutions
  • Collaborate with the Lead Creative Designer and wider Creative team to maintain a strong, unified brand experience across conversion-led design work
  • Also working independently to explore and ideate new design concepts, testing alternative directions where the data suggests an opportunity, then feeding validated ideas back into the brand system
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies where relevant (e.g. UX/creative agencies) to brief and review work
  • Lend design capacity to other channels such as CRM and Marketing, applying the same design system and standards across every touchpoint
  • Manage and track your work through Linear, our team's project management tool
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design standards in every project
  • Present and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders across Creative, Ecom and CRM

About You

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer or similar, with a strong portfolio of user-centred work. Experience designing for mobile-first, high-traffic retail or ecommerce sites is a strong plus
  • Experienced in Figma, working within and extend an existing design system
  • Solid understanding of UX research methods, interaction design and information architecture
  • Experience working cross-functionally, ideally alongside eCommerce, CRM or marketing teams
  • Ability to balance customer needs, brand consistency and commercial goals in design decisions
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation-led design practices
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Experience with Linear or similar project/task management tools
  • Knowledge of Shopify, as our eCommerce site is built on the platform
  • Ability to work with GA4, funnel, and engagement metrics well enough to spot opportunities and validate design decisions
  • Experience designing for retail, eCommerce or lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with CRM/lifecycle design (email, app notifications)
  • Basic understanding of SEO/on-page considerations when designing PDP/PLP templates
