Candidate profile (text) - Default language IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Customer Relations Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

If you are looking for a role where you get to build your customer service skills and help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you.

We have 12-hour contracts working on our Check-Outs and Customer Relations / Returns areas, where you would provide after sales support.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • The group assessment centre will be on Wednesday, 17 June in-store, in the evening.
  • Start date of employment will be Saturday, 04 July.
  • Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
  • Availability to work two 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as ad hoc shifts through the week (Monday to Friday) is required.
  • These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year, including the holiday periods.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We’re looking for team members who aim to deliver a high-quality shopping experience and who always prioritize the customer in their work, encouraging others to follow suit.

The ideal candidate will have experience - paid, voluntary or at school - of working in a busy team environment. You will be motivated to learn, and interested in offering a great customer experience for our customers. Retail or customer-facing experience is desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on check-outs, and the next minute, you could be meeting and greeting our customers, assisting customers and providing great customer service.

  • You aim to create a positive experience for our customers so that they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
  • You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
  • Meeting and greeting our customers, assisting customers at the check-outs and returns desk.
  • Build loyalty by listening to our customers and using your knowledge of the IKEA product range to offer informed solutions.
