OCU are looking for new candidates to join our team London and Borehamwood and the works will cover London and the home counties., however we don’t just want people, we want great people! Due to the outstanding growth of OCU, driven by customer demand we are looking to increase the engineers within our team. Our Engineers are industry leading in Duct Proving, Cable Installation, Cable Blowing, Sub-duct installation and much more!

Responsibilities

  • Experience of installing cables in an underground network.
  • Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions.
  • Experience of rodding and roping, installing cables and sub-duct into existing duct network and mechanical winching.
  • Experience in locating blockages and producing blockage clearance diagrams.
  • Ability to work in varying field environments. Being that either Day or Night, Internally or Externally.
  • Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, data recordings and network design maps.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
  • Hold or have previously held NRSWA Streetworks Card, CSCS/EUSR Card, Confined Space Training.
  • PIA Accreditation in underground working desirable-working on public roads.
  • YOU MUST HOLD A FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENCE
  • PIA Accreditations
