About The Role

Your Next Opportunity Starts Here – College Cleaners Needed



East Kent Colleges Group is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our Broadstairs College campus clean and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. This role is temporary to cover maternity until July 2027.

Salary per year: £8,701 (inc holiday pay)

Hours per week: 15

Shift Details: Monday to Friday 05:30 to 08:30

Your Role:

Maintain the cleanliness of the college buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff. Prior experience working within health and safety guidelines is beneficial.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive, and efficient Housekeeper to join our team

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of machinery.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Some technology/computer experience would be an advantage.
