Support Worker

Location: West Bridgford, NG2

Full time, permanent, Days and Nights

Pay: £12.90 per hour

We are looking for caring, committed and enthusiastic support workers to come and join our team of established support workers across Ash Villa & The Bungalow to provide high quality and bespoke services to each of our clients.

About Ash Villa & The Bungalow

Ash Villa

Ash Villa is a welcoming residential home in the heart of West Bridgford, Nottingham, providing person-centred support in a comfortable and homely environment. Set within a spacious property on a quiet residential street, the service offers ten well-appointed bedrooms, inviting communal lounges, a bright dining area, and attractive garden spaces where residents can relax and enjoy time outdoors.

The Bungalow

The service is intentionally small in size, allowing for a calm environment where individuals can receive highly personalised support and build strong, trusting relationships with the staff team. This setting is particularly well suited to people who may thrive in a quieter home with consistent routines and familiar faces.

Both have excellent public transport links and a wide range of local shops, cafés, healthcare services, and community amenities nearby, this enables people to remain connected to their local community while receiving the support they need.

What we are looking for:

· Great communication and interpersonal skills

· Build and form excellent relationships with both colleagues and clients we support

· Flexible with shift patterns

· Reliable, friendly and caring to help service users

· Able to support in house activities and hobbies

· Attentive and inspire residents to achieve more

This role encompasses a range of tasks dependent on the client’s needs including:

· Monitoring, recording, and administering medication

· Light household chores

· Assistance with mobility and personal care

· Assistance with shopping

· Food preparation

· Providing companionship

Working as a Support Worker means no two days are the same as you will be supporting our residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may get involved in exciting activities outside of the home too.

No prior experience is needed, as we will give you all the tools you’ll need to excel in this role. All you need to bring is a hardworking, compassionate nature and a positive can-do attitude.

Shift Patterns: Ash Villa shift patterns are;

DAYS 8am -8pm or 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm and 3pm to 10pm

NIGHTS 8pm to 8am

Ash Bungalow shift patterns are;

DAYS 8am to 8pm

NIGHTS 8pm to 8am or 9pm to 7 am

Rotas will be provided in advance to support a happy work life balance. You must have flexibility to work weekends
