Job description – Care Coordinator

Anderby Care is a family run company in its successful eighth year of delivering quality home care services to people in the Rotherham area with a strong reputation.

We are rated "Good" by CQC and "Excellent" by Rotherham Council.

We are looking to recruit an experienced home care Co-Ordinator to join our expanding team.

Level 2 required Level 3 preferred

Hourly Rate: £15.00 plus on-call payment

Location: Rotherham – South Yorkshire

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a valid Driving license and have access to a vehicle
  • Level 3 in Health and social Care (or Equivalent) or willing to work towards
  • At least 1 year’s Experience in a senior role within Domiciliary/Care Home environment
  • Experience with Electronic rostering system (Careplanner/ Nourish)
  • Experience with holding On-call

Work Patterns: Full time - Office Hours, must be available for opposite Weekends/Care Hours as this is a duel role.

Rota: 4 week rolling rota including office, care, on call and days off. Weekend on/ Weekend off.

Desirable experience as follows:

  • Manage current and new customers care requirements and Documentation.
  • Managing Rotas, Care Cover and On Call duties.
  • Safer selection and recruitment of new Home Care staff
  • Coordinating inductions, probations supervisions and appraisals
  • Conducting Observations and spot checks
  • Confident when communicating verbally and experienced with Word, office, and IT.
  • Ability to adapt in a day to day fast paced environment while achieving deadlines.
  • Working with other health care professionals and families to maintain our high standards and reputation.
