Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated members to join our fantastic and vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, waitering service, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience in our long standing family establishment - winner of mid beds pub of the year 2025.

All our tips from customers are shared between staff that worked the shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Support a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Full front of house including food service & food preparation
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for till operations.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring our customers feel valued and welcomed at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bartending/waitering or similar roles is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards within the bar and kitchen area.
  • A passion for hospitality and proven customer service skills in both restaurant or bar settings.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues alike.
