La tua Londra is looking for passionate Italian-speaking tour guides to join our team for the Christmas season and ongoing opportunities throughout the year!

La tua Londra is a growing tourism business specialising in guided tours of London in Italian. Our mission is to help Italian visitors discover the city through the eyes of people who live here, combining iconic landmarks with hidden gems, fascinating stories and authentic local experiences.

Through our online community and dedicated team, we help thousands of Italian travellers experience London in a more personal, engaging and memorable way.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and personable Italian-speaking tour guides to join our team, with a particular focus on the busy Christmas season in November and December.

The Role

This is a freelance opportunity for individuals who are passionate about tourism, culture and customer experiences.

You will lead guided walking tours for Italian-speaking visitors, bringing London's history, culture, traditions and hidden corners to life through engaging storytelling and excellent customer service.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are available during the Christmas period, when demand for our tours increases significantly. There may also be opportunities to continue working with us throughout the year, depending on business needs and mutual availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead guided walking tours of London for Italian-speaking groups.
  • Share interesting stories, historical facts, local insights and cultural information in an engaging and accessible way.
  • Guide visitors along established itineraries, ensuring that tours run smoothly and according to schedule.
  • Create a welcoming, enjoyable and memorable experience for every participant.
  • Answer questions and provide useful information about London, its landmarks, neighbourhoods and traditions.
  • Adapt your communication style to suit different groups and audiences.
  • Represent La tua Londra professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Prepare for each assigned tour by familiarising yourself with the itinerary, key locations and relevant information.
  • Work closely with our operations team to ensure the smooth delivery of tours.
  • Follow our internal guidelines and procedures to maintain a consistent, high-quality experience.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Native or Super Fluent Italian, with excellent spoken communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of London, including its main landmarks, neighbourhoods and history.
  • Excellent storytelling and public speaking skills.
  • A friendly, confident and engaging personality.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Availability during November and December, including weekends and agreed public holidays where required.

Compensation: Tour Guide Entry level £20 per hour.

Availability:

Our immediate priority is to recruit guides for the Christmas 2026 season, particularly between November and December.

Availability during weekends and peak visitor periods will be an important consideration. Candidates should clearly state their availability throughout the Christmas period, including any restrictions around weekends and public holidays.

There may be opportunities for further assignments throughout the year for suitable candidates.

Tours take place primarily on foot across different areas of London. Meeting points, routes and tour durations vary depending on the assigned experience.

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 12.0 per week
