Location: Glasgow - G65, G66, G67, G23, G21, G33, G3, G71 Only - living location
Schedule: Monday - Friday 45 hours per week plus overtime available and regular overnight stays
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Position: Trainee role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on site hours 8:00am to 17:00pm (site dependent), however, due to the nature of the role, flexibility in working hours is required due to early starts and regular overnight stays (accommodation and meals provided).
  • Travelling to sites/projects daily and leading the maintenance of our fire suppression systems in a safe and timely manner.
  • Complete and return relevant documentation to the office for works completed and provide regular updates regarding installation progression.
  • Help to train new recruits/trainees.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and Health and Safety standards.
  • Keep up to date with regular training, standards and techniques on the system.
  • Completing weekly/monthly stock takes of your vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Take responsibility for driving a company van and in completing daily checks and liaising with fleet personnel when required.
  • Ensure PPE is always worn and be responsible for the security of company tools.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Experience as a plumber’s mate or electrician’s mate (preferred).
  • Be flexible with working hours, including early starts and overnight stays.
  • Be physically fit to handle lifting and physical labour.
  • Be organised, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate resilience and excellent customer service skills.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (3 points maximum).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Have 2 years previous experience in the construction industry.
