Travel Tour Operator (Scotland)

Hybrid work after probation

Salary: between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum depending on experience

We are open to considering higher salary expectations for candidates with particularly relevant experience and expertise in the travel industry.

A well-established tour operator who pride themselves in being specialist in creating tailor made tours in Great Britain and Ireland

Main duties: Manage and coordinate group travel programmes to visity Scotland from confirmation through to completion, ensuring all services, suppliers and client requirements are delivered accurately and efficiently.

The role:

- Creating and preparing itineraries, quotations and costings for group tours.

- Managing group bookings from confirmation through to completion

- Handling all group booking administration, including amendments, cancellations, rooming lists and travel documentation

- Ensuring tours run smoothly by coordinating with clients and processing requests accurately and on time

- Negotiating rates and terms with suppliers while maintaining quality and budget

- Processing invoices and supporting payment administration

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

The candidate:

- Previous experience in tour operations or a DMC is essential

- Good knowledge of Scotland and the UK as a travel destination.

- Fluency in Italian, German, French or Spanish would be a real bonus

- Excellent communication and organisation skills

- Proactive, dynamic and ability to multi task

- Able to work as part of a team as well as to take initiatives

- More flexible working arrangements could be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
