Salary: Grade 7: £38,784 to £43,482

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. You will join a dynamic, collaborative and forward-thinking team delivering and developing our portfolio of undergraduate and as appropriate postgraduate programmes in health. There will also be opportunities to contribute to teaching, curriculum development and scholarship across the School and University depending upon your experience and interests

The School of Health Sciences hosts a vibrant range of professionally accredited programmes such as Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Dietetics, Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. This diverse community creates rich opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary education, practice and research – something we are proud to foster and continuously develop.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Have a First degree [1st/2:1] in one of the following areas:

• • Human Physiology; Health Sciences; Pharmacy; Pharmacology; Biomedical Sciences or another relevant degree including Nursing and AHP degree.

• Current and relevant knowledge of Applied Human physiology, and pharmacology.
• Have an ability to apply physiological and pharmacological principles and data to health care practice.
• Recent experience of undertaking student assessment and facilitating learning and teaching in Higher Education context would be advantageous
